UK VAT-registered businesses keep digital records and file VAT returns through HMRC-recognised software under Making Tax Digital. We do not sell an accounting package, and we will not claim HMRC recognition we do not hold.
What we do is build systems that produce clean, structured data your accounting software can consume — correct VAT treatment on invoices, exportable transaction data in the format your bookkeeper or accountant needs, and integration with your accounting platform where it offers an API. Where filing itself is in question, that stays with your recognised accounting software.
UK GDPR shapes an early design decision: where personal data is stored and processed, who can access it, how long it is kept, and how a subject access or erasure request is actually fulfilled.
We can host in a UK or EU region so data stays in-country if that is your requirement, build role-based access and access logging, implement retention and deletion, and document the processing so it can go into your own records. We are a processor working to your instructions; the controller obligations and any certification remain yours, and we would rather set that out plainly at the start than have it surface during a due-diligence questionnaire.
A written scope with a fixed price before any build. A shared backlog, a demo every two weeks in your morning, and a named engineer you deal with directly. Invoicing in GBP by international transfer, with milestone payments.
You own the source code and the repository on final payment. If the relationship ends, nothing about your system is dependent on us continuing to exist.
